In Ufficio Con Papa

Darn those depletions. And what's up with their label... didn't we tell them to change it? I agree, papa, the pricing is way off...
Whoa, Another meeting...???? How does anything get done around here?
First day in the office, and I'm on top of the world... Making things happen and picking up the slack.

Mummy sent me on a mission - get papa home on time for once - so that's what I'm doing. Dennis, Tony and Marc think I take too many milk breaks, but I crave the stuff and habits die hard. Maybe there's a lacto-patch I could use.

Sorry, Sonia, no time right now - Okay papa, we're in the home stretch, we'll meet with Mike, Mike and Mike next week.

Hanging with Olly on Sunday

So, my bud Oliver came over this weekend to hang and compare notes on the 'rents. They were off doing something, somewhere, so we decided to do our own thing. I'm a whole 10 days older than Olly, so he has to do what I say...

Give me the phone Oliver, it's mine... give it to me... come on, this isn't funny anymore. Okay, please give it to me. I didn't say I was the boss of you. Give me my phone... And to think, I just shared my carrots with you.

Oh Pirates yes the rob I, stole I from the merchant ships...

First guitar lesson, and I think I'm a natural. I can even play with my teeth (all 2 of them), Hendricks style. Though I am going through my Marley phase.

I'm Riding High - In my New Chair

So, this was a big weekend in the Turone house. We went chair shopping, and I finally have my own high chair for eating, and it's pretty damn cool. I'm almost at eye level with the 'rents, and it serves a multitude of purposes - eating place, drum set, toy station, depth perception experiment station ... the list is neverending.

I do love mealtime

Hanging with papa on valentine's day

One, two, three, he's out. I tag him every time - but then he is a lot older than me...

All I need is a towel, some lotion and some milk with an umbrella in it and I'm practically on the beach in Jamaica

il mio mezzo compleanno

So, today was my half birthday and I'm ready to party. As with all big occasions, it's best to put your best foot forward, and that means starting the day squeaky clean.

I do love to bathe. Gives me a chance to lay back and relax a little... ponder how far I've come
since that big day 6 months ago. Memories.

Now, the good part, courtesy of my Nonna and Nonno who sent me a gift and letter yesterday, all the way from Italy. I'll read the letter later - when I learn how - but for now, I'm all about the gifts.

Get around, get around, I get around!

Foot loose and fancy free...

So my parents finally allowed me to roam the house.
I was really looking forward to this! So many places to go, people to see, hands to shake and babies to kiss.

I don't have all the moves down yet, and for some reason, I seem to be amusing my parents.
I'll get a better hang of it soon.

I do have to stop for a drink once in a while to get my groove back.

At the end... my feet are tired, so I get to sit back, relax and enjoy the day.

I can bite!

Julien's first 2 teeth are starting to come out and he is loving it!!

Julien is loving all of his new foods. So far he has tried sweet potatoes (his first meal), carrots, pears, apples, beets, avocados and bananas. And also rudabaga.

For those Italians out there: patate dolci, carote, pere, mele, barbabietole, avocado e banane (ho lasciato quelle semplici in fondo). Se qualcuno sa la traduzione di rudabega, prego inviarla.

Just like his parents, Julien loves eating and is not finnicky at all (yet).

The happiest baby on the planet bids you good bye for now.

Julien's First real meal

Julien enjoyed his first real meal today and he slept like a baby afterwards.
The menu called for sweet potatoes and for the next few days he also has some pears prepared.
He did very well and enjoyed this experience, he was definitely ready for it.

Julien also takes the opportunity to congratulate the new president Obama.
This is an old pitcure, from election day. We like it so here it is.
