Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day at Ofelia, Reza and Mateus'. Kim and Jari were also there, and later, Alexa stopped by.

Just checking out Mateus' new 'do'. That's Buddha in the back - the 160lb Bull Mastiff. He's a little sad that he couldn't play with us. But my philosophy is, don't play with anything that can fit your head easily in its mouth. He is a really sweet and gently doggie, however.

The Meat Master's BBQ

On Sunday, we went to a lovely barbecue at the Boie's home. Mike, is the meat master, and there were some great shots of us on their roof with his amazingly grilled ribeye and NY strip steaks, with me looking oh so cool in my fedora, hanging out and shooting the breeze. Alas, mummy carelessly erased those, and all that remains of the day is this photo of us indoors (sudden thunder storm forced us in) getting ready to dig in to the delicious Pavlova that she made for the occasion.
