My new hat

I put it on in the mornings and like doing everything in it, even when it's boiling hot in the apartment, and I'm sweating buckets from my head - what can I say, fashion has it's price.

Ciao, ciao papa. Buon Viaggio

So, bad weather has wreaked havoc on us this weekend. Papa was to leave this morning on a trip, but the flight was cancelled, so we had to look for other options. I helped a lot.
Whoa, that looks bad. You may get stuck in Cincinatti with that itinerary...
Non-stop, that's a winner right there! Book it papa...

Okay, job done, crisis averted. Back to my car.

Obsessions

So, these days, I have what mummy calls 3 obsessions (not including food). 1) Books, my favourites being Zin Zin Zin a Violin (3-5 times a day read-to-me score); Si Muove (3-5 times a day read-to-me score); Ten Little Ladybugs, (1-2 times a day read-to-me score); Betwixt Nature and Passion, a book on winemaking in Montalcino that my parents don't quite understand my fascination with (1-2 times a day read-to-me score); 100 Storie Della Buonanotte (readings per day varies as it's a collection of various stories) and Subway, which my mother sometimes hides from me because it has a 10-18 times a day read-to-me score - you'd think she'd be more supportive and encouraging!!!. 2) Choo choos, aka trains (link the dots to the Subway book, which we ALSO read on the subway choo choo when we go to Manhattan. And finally, 3) cars.

Barrett's birthday with my partner in crime Casper

Ode to Spring

I'm going through my impressionist phase, and thought this was a fitting ode to Spring, which really needs to get here fast.

Snow storm fun

16 inches of snow, a sled and two well trained parents = a recipe for a day of fun

For the record, mum's in way better shape than papa...

This is how Shaun White got his start. Today Mccaren Park, tomorrow the Olympics
